L&B Partners S.p.A. in the project financing related to Agritre’s biomass power plant

L&B Partners S.p.A. together with Borrower Agritre S.r.l., Ardian and Tozzi Green S.p.A. for a financing contract on a project financing basis of 60,000,000.00 million

L&B Partners S.p.A. assisted the Borrower Agritre S.r.l. and the Sponsor of the Project (Ardian and Tozzi Green S.p.A.) in relation to the legal and financial aspects for the structuring, negotiation and signing of a Financial Agreement on project financing basis for an amount routhly equal to Euro 60.000.000,00 Mln in relation to a biomass power plant fuelled with an installed capacity of 25,2 MWe, located in the Municipality of Sant’Agata - in the Puglia Region (Foggia).

The power plant is one of the bigger in Italy, has an expected production of electric energy of rouhtly 188.000 MWh yearly, able to di colmare the energetic need of more than 47.000 families, and, mainly burning cereal straw, the main by-product agricultural available in the province of Foggia, induces benefits to the environment and the local economy.

The Sponsor have been assisted for the legal aspects by L&B Partners Avvocati Associati, with a team composed by the Partner Michele Di Terlizzi, assisted by the Senior Associate Andrea Semmola, the Associate Giuseppe Candela and the Trainee Carlo Maria Tealdo and for the financial aspects by L&B Partners S.p.A. with a team composed by the Partner Rocco Giorgio and the Senior Analyst Gianmarco Carella.

The legal firm Watson Farley & Williams assisted the pool of banks (inclusing Banca IMI as Agent Bank, Mediocredito Italiano S.p.A., UBI Banca S.p.A. and Cassa dei Risparmi di Forlì e della Romagna S.p.A.) which che ha concesso the Financing with a team composed by the Partner Pierpaolo Mastromarini and assisted by the Senior Associate Michele Arruzzolo, as project manager, and by the Trainee Paolo Gallarà. The Partner Tiziana Manenti, assisted by the Associates Cristina Betti and Anthony Bellacci, and by the Trainee Antimo Nersita, oversaw the due diligence aspects related to permits and land rights.
