Skills and experience
Rocco co-founded and has been Managing Partner of L&B Partners S.p.A. since 2004.
After graduating, he worked for one year in the Financial & Commodity Risk Management division of Deloitte & Touche and one year in BPM Private Equity S.G.R. as a financial analyst.
In 2011 he co-founded L&B Capital S.p.A., an investment vehicle specialised in the renewable energy sector, where he is currently member of the Board of Directors.
Rocco has significant experience in the renewable energy sector and in particular in project finance, having gained experience of structuring non-recourse and limited recourse loans worth over €2.8 billion, corresponding to over 1.8 GW.
Here are some of his most important recent accomplishments:
- Advisor to Cerignola Wind, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tozzi Green, in the structuring of a €67.4 million loan with Natixis, MPS and BNL, in relation to 3 wind farms (52.5 MW) located in Apulia and Sicily (2019) .
- Advisor to Fortore Wind in the structuring of a €82 million loan with Natixis and Credito Valtellinese, in relation to 3 wind farms (84 MW) (2018).
- Advisor to NextEnergy Capital in the structuring of a €200 million loan with Intesa San Paolo and Mediocredito Italiano for the acquisition of photovoltaic power plants in Italy (2017).
- Advisor to Veronagest for the structuring of a multi-borrower loan amounting to €190 million with UniCredit, Natixis and BNP Paribas, in relation to 4 SPVs, which own 4 wind farms located in Italy, corresponding to a total installed capacity of 144.6 MW (2016 ).
