Our administrative law department is made up of professionals who have many years of consolidated experience of public contracts and public-private partnerships in the energy, environment, urban planning, construction, public utility services, transport, trade and tourism, competition and healthcare sectors.

As far as public contracts and public private partnerships are concerned, we offer comprehensive assistance to individuals who wish to apply to public tenders, for which we provide advisory services during the entire process, starting from the drafting of application forms to the signing and subsequent execution of the relevant contracts. We also provide assistance to public administrations and any companies subject to public contract law who wish to carry out public tender procedures, in respect of which we offer advisory services during the entire process, starting from the announcement of the tender to signing and execution of the relative contract.

Our professionals also have wide-ranging experience in the field of environmental law and processes relating to any environmental authorisation, including authorisations required for energy generation and waste disposal enterprises. In particular, we have valuable know-how regarding: sole authorisations (AU) and integrated authorisations (AIA); strategic environmental assessment procedures (VAS); assessment of a company’s legal obligation to conduct an environmental impact assessment and environmental impact assessment procedures (VIA); environmental implications assessment (VINCA); authorisations for atmospheric emissions; water permits; environmental aspects related to energy projects (whether renewable or traditional); procedures for waste management (including electronic waste as defined by WEEE); simplified procedures for independently disposing of non-hazardous waste at the site of production or for waste recovery activities; remediation of contaminated land, conversion of abandoned industrial sites.

In the field of urban planning and construction, we provide assistance and consultancy to companies and public and private entities in the development of building and infrastructure projects, in the public and private sector, also with regard to the various aspects of urban planning and construction.

We also assist our clients in discussions with public administrations and public companies as well as with independent authorities; in such a framework we can also participate, representing or assisting our clients, in expert panel discussions and planning conferences held by local authorities.

We work in close synergy with our M&A, Banking & Finance and IP & Technology teams in respect of all extraordinary corporate transactions, asset acquisitions, financing, refinancing and strategic alliances which, depending on the given market, fall in large parts under the regulation of administrative law, in order to offer our clients multidisciplinary assistance and coordinated management for these kinds of transactions.

We also boast considerable experience on the litigation front, gained over years of assistance to our Italian and international clients in pre-litigation, legal and judicial, ordinary and extraordinary circumstances, before all competent jurisdictions.
