STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT

We support our clients in the conception and creation of development and protection strategies for their intangible assets, including trademark registration assessments and assistance in the subsequent phases of property rights registration, prosecution (including the objection phase) and maintenance of the IP portfolio, as well as the implementation of customs surveillance tools.

LEGAL OPINIONS AND CONTRACTS

We guide our clients through the drafting of legal opinions and the drafting, review and negotiation of all commercial agreements relevant to the protection and development of intangible assets, both under ordinary management and during more complex activities such as technology transfers in extraordinary corporate transactions (including in venture capital and private equity contexts). We also assist our clients in the creation of joint ventures, start-ups, spin-offs and strategic alliances.

LITIGATION

We regularly assist our clients in pre-litigation, court proceedings (including when seeking injunctive relief), arbitration proceedings and in proceedings before administrative authorities (such as the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office) and customs agencies, in all competent jurisdictions.
